Scope: Measurement of Interfacial Tension and Contact Angle

 

  Measurement of interfacial tension (IFT) at reservoir conditions is critical both for the IFT measurement at harsh reservoir condition and measuring gas MMP (minimum miscibility pressure) for special gas EOR process.

Experiment Description

 

  A camera connected to a computer re­cords the shape of the liquid drop to estimate interface properties. The Drop Shape software allows the fast estimation of interfacial ten­sion of pendent drops and contact angles of sessile drops.
